Football for a united and peaceful Iraq

An Iraqi children’s football project have started. Under the banner:

Football for a united and peaceful Iraq

Nabil who is the project manager believes sports helps in bringing peace, stability and unity.

The football projects starts in Najaf, then it takes cities in the south, middle and north. This will provide Iraqi children a chance for happiness, play, fun and sports competitions. We all know how much this is needed for them these days. It will give them the experience that their parents care about them and that there are people who support them on both a family and a society level.

I salute Nabil for his efforts and wish all success to his project! I also hope I have understood correctly that this is a project that includes both boys and girls. Sports are indeed loved by a lot of children and it’s a perfect thing to spend time on, build a healthy body, relationships and friendship. All these things will help Iraqi kids get some hope back and it will strengthen the unity of Iraqis!

Very well put.

It is clear tht the actions of G.W. Bush and his administration are nothing short of war crimes. The false pretense used by the warmongers in America to invade Iraq have long been proven false.

This is not even a war on terrorism. If it were so then it would be clear that the methods being used are ineffective. It is a war for control of Oil.

I need confirmation on something. I once read that shortly before the invasion of Iraq, Sadaaam changed the currency base of Oil trade from the US dollar to the Euro. Can someone confirm if this has any bassis in fact?

In any event, Iraqis need to get the US out of Iraq. Stop killing yourselves, as if I need to tell you that, and start kicking the Occupiers out.

The nation of Iraq has a long road ahead of it. The U.S. is not the answer. Iraq and Iraqi's are the answer. Your people are a beautifull people whos growth has been stunted by the backwardness of dogmatic thoughts and actions. Empower yourself and, so to speak, relearn what it means to be Iraqi. Liberate instead of being liberated.

I am rambling.

I agree with everything you said. Also, it is true. Saddam in defiance to the USA did change to Euro. I strongly believe that this is the reason for the invasion of Iraq. But the American people will never hear the true reasons why, will they?
