The war in Iraq is illigal

"The war in Iraq is in fact illegal. It is my obligation and my duty to refuse any orders to participate in this war. An order to take part in an illegal war is unlawful in itself. So my obligation is not to follow the order to go to Iraq."
- Lt. Ehren Watada

What is illegal and disgraceful is what Lt.Watada is doing.

The role if dissent is for the citizen, if we don't want war we have a political avenue to achieve that goal. lt. Watada signed on the dotted line and volunteered to serve, received training and has taken pay to date.

Funny people that left their country would advise people here to break the law and to disgrace themselves.

Madtom the war is illigal.

What Lt. Ehren Watada is doing is the correct thing to do. He is refusing to participate in an illigal war.

He is showing the men and women in the US army the right thing to do! I hope they get the courage to do the same thing!

You see Bush and his team are nothing without their armies. So lets work for that more soldiers do what Lt. Ehren Watada is doing! Telling Bush that they will not be war criminals for him they will not commit war crimes for him in this illigal war. Its time they go home and defend their own democracy in their own country from people like Bush.

To: Lt. Ehren Watada YOU are doing the right thing!
