The Tigris will be held hostage in Turkey by their proposed 30 new dams that will generate electricity to sell to Iraq and others. Makes one wonder whether the Turks are somewhat behined the attacks on the electricity infrastucture throughout Iraq.
Dear A&Eiraqi all along I have believed the sustainable solution for this lays in guiding ourselves thru the dark tunnel. Ordinary Iraqis being in charge!
Relying only on God or other people for a solution means, giving away our opportunity/responsibility to decide our own future to other people. These people’s actions and other people’s lack of actions results are seen in Iraq today.
Sad days indeed ; (
Antar, I had no knowledge about Turkey’s proposed 30 new dams. I have always seen the future wars being about water recourses. I’ll do a search about the dams tomorrow to learn more. If you happen to stop by please drop a link if you have one.
